Clearing An Obstructed Thru-Hull

Steps
  1. Shutdown the water-dependent system and close any seacocks
  2. Disconnect the hose or pipe connected to the seacock
  3. Select a sealing stopper that seats securely in the open end of the seacock and place the stopper on the control unit
  4. Connect the control unit to a garden hose, close the valve, and turn on pressurized water
  5. Position the sealing stopper in the seacock and open the seacock valve
  6. Hold the stopper securely in place and open the control unit water valve, forcing water out of the thru-hull and clearing the obstruction
  7. Close the control unit water valve and the seacock, and reconnect the pipe or hose
No water enters the vessel through the thru-hull!

BlastItOut does not need to be connected at the seacock. The pipe or hose can be disconnected (and BlastItOut inserted) at any point between the seacock and the water-dependent system. If the disconnect is done at a point above the waterline, no water enters the vessel at all.
